    Boxes in copper

These fist 3 boxes are in Copper and wood, I have been bending acrylic for the lid, it happens that way that you warm up the acrylic sheet in an oven, just enough to make it soft and elastic, then quickly out and placed in the shape you want. In this case over a rod. I like very much combining materials and here I have used cement in the lid.
Copper is very sensitive to heat, you can heat up copper and watch it change from brown over yellow, red and blue to silver. Copper forms a good base for the coats of industrial paint I add to the surface, I add several layers and heat up between each layer to make the surface durable. This tecknic gives a wonderful possibility to work with pattern.
